It is my desire to find clients that love what I create as much as I love creating!!!
I find great joy in creating pieces that commemorate special moments and miliestones in life. Weddings, anniversaries, retirement and especially the birth of a child. Belly bowls formed over a third trimester tummy have been one of my favorites since my sister was pregnant with her first baby 10 years ago. Sweet Baby Belly Bowls are ceramic clay bowls created from a pregnant belly to commemorate pregnancy and birth of sweet baby. Sweet Baby Belly Bowls, created in the 3rd trimester, are an endearing keepsake and memorable shower gift. Our artists will collaborate with you on design and color options. Your bowl will be custom carved with your details and design ideas (baby's name, family tree, symbolic images, poems, scripture . . . the design possibilities are endless and as sweetly exclusive as your sweet baby). We use only dinnerware safe clay and glazes. Prefer to cast your own belly? Order our Sweet Baby Belly Bowl - Kit today. Casting the shell only takes about 15 minutes. Just ship the shell back to our studio in the box and bubble wrap provided. We will collaborate with you on designs and color options to create an enchanting memento from your casting to commemorate your pregnancy.
I am dedicated and indebted to clay. I am very fortunate to have found such a dynamic medium to channel through and share with others. My work takes many forms from cups, bowls, platters and stem ware to more sculptural jars, vases, masks and sconces. The carving is organic and abstract.
My husband Shannon and I live in Comer, Georgia with our 14 year old twins, Paxton and Sebastian. Our studio is located in the “Old Blue Bell Building”. Its 12,000 square feet have lived many different lives over the past 111 years and has undergone many exciting changes. It is now our home, gallery, studio and two other retail spaces fostering entrepreneurship.
